Meeting called to order by Robin Sawyer. Paul Perez led the Pledge of Allegiance. Mike Betlinski reported on the Easter Egg Run. The event went very well. There was no rain that allowed for a great day for all participants. Thanks to the volunteers. Dave Robertson gave an update on the Steak and Joke night. "Red" Jung was the winner. It was also announced that eight people have yet to pay for the steak dinner… anonymous cash donations will be accepted and appreciated. The Getty trip was a great success Paul Perez announced. Members asked when the next would be scheduled!! Suggestion was made that a twice-yearly schedule be established to accommodate the current interest level. Tom Rougeaux requested input from the membership on what to do with the Yamaha goods donation.
Steve Fernandez provided an update on the upcoming Riviera Village Festival. Volunteers are still needed particularly in the take down/clean-up time slot. (ED: See over for work roster as of 4/16.) Volunteers or those in need of rescheduling their work slot should contact Steve at 310-375-5164. Currently the booth setup is scheduled for Friday evening.
Robin Sawyer announced that the Beer Tasting evening is to be held at the Moose Lodge located at 516 North PCH, Redondo Beach. Meeting time is 8:00 p.m.
