or organizations that would like to help sell tickets?
Do you know of a local group or organization that needs help with
fund raising? If so, please give Steve a call.
Riviera Festival Update, or the event "formally known as Frontier Days". Not taking NO for an answer, Dick Rector has been in contact with the new organizers who have now agreed to allow us to sell Funnel Cakes at this upcoming event scheduled for April 27 and 28, 2002. A committee of Dick Rector, Paul Stemmler, Lee Gustafson and Daryl Achstein was formed to help confirm our attendance and organize this event.
Concerns were voiced regarding the untimely
production of this years Membership Roster. With only 60% of Membership
dues collected at the end of February, the Roster was being held
open in the expectation of forthcoming dues. The telephone tree,
which was recently organized to contact members who might have
over looked their dues was successful. The new Roster will now
be closed out and published ASAP.
A motion was passed to adopt a new membership renewal system to
help aid in the timely collection of dues. Future Rosters are
to be published in January.
It was reported that the philanthropic committees was able to donate an additional $250.00 from its budget to the El Retro Library.
