Yes, it’s that time again.

After a relaxing summer it is time to begin a new year for the Sportsman’s Club.

Our first meeting of the year will be Wednesday September 13th, 8:00 at the Club on Neece Ave. The agenda will include this year’s proposed budget.

Put it on your calendar now, and remember to bring your dues. ($30.00). Make your check Payable to: HRSC.

The Installation Dinner last June was a great success thanks to Geoff Graue who chaired the event and found a wonderful location at Ellison’s Chateau. The new officers are listed in this newsletter.

October 7th and 8th will be this year’s Manhattan Beach Fair, so save time to come out and make some Funnel Cakes. If you can’t wait to volunteer, get in touch with Jon Stott (378-8284 or jon@rdswire.com)

November 8,9,10 is the first golf outing of the year. Any and all interested please contact Don Marousek (310-375-5686).

The Riviera Elementary PTA is holding their annual Carnival fund raiser in October, and they have requested Sportsman volunteers to man their barbeques at the event. If you can help, let us know at the meeting, or contact Chris Collignon for details.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, September 13, 8:00pm. Bring your check for $30 for dues. Also, plan to sign up for the Manhattan Beach Fair.
