Philanthropic Night 2002

The recipients of the club's philanthropic program were recognized on Wednesday, February 13 at the clubhouse

Calling the event to order

Dick Rector presenting Mr. Ross of the Walteria Library. We donated magazine racks.

Steve Fernandez arranged to donate two 19" color TVs to Saint Lawrence School.

Herb Solomon introduced Linda Dowlan, Pricipal of Richardson Middle School. The club donated funds to the SWAP program.

Mr. and Mrs. O'Kelly were presented with a check written out to Marshall's Music which will be used by the Jazz band and vocal choir for supplies.

Al Ortiz described the bookcases we donated to Riviera Elementary's Reading Resource room.

Paul Perez described the Teacher's Aid books we donated to Riviera Hall.

Allen Watt, chairman of the Philanthropic Committee, described the bookshelves we donated to the Riviera YMCA.
